Will Bohmann has been involved with education for the past 20 years.  His enjoyment of teaching and working with others has led him to a host of exciting positions, including Associate Director of the San Diego Youth Aquatic Center, Hoofer’s Sailing instructor,  Sales Associate and Trainer for Nike in Portland, Oregon and Chef/Instructor for New England Culinary Institute.

After completing a degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin, Will moved to Vermont to pursue his passion for cooking. Will completed his culinary training with the prestigious New England Culinary Institute, graduating with distinction in 1997.  While living in Vermont, Will worked for The Inn at Shelburne Farms and was the Foodservice Director for Chittenden South Schools in Charlotte, VT.

Chef Bohmann has been employed by New England Culinary Institute as Chef Instructor for a little over a decade.  He has led classes ranging from Banquets & Catering to Financial Management and everything in between.  Will is one of just a handful of faculty who has earned Senior Core faculty status and works with other faculty as a member of the Faculty Development Team.

Chef Bohmann has contributed articles on food and teaching techniques for Chef Educator Today magazine and hosted cooking demonstrations with New England Cooks, a local food program aired regionally on New England Cable News.  Chef Bohmann was selected as Chef of Vermont for an agricultural trade mission to Milan, Italy.  An honor he cherishes today.

In 2011 Will began a new stage in his career by accepting a job with a technical high school in Northern Vermont.  As Educational Technology Integration Specialist, Will works directly with faculty incorporating technology skills directly into the classroom to assist with learning and engagement.

In Will’s free time, he enjoys mountain biking, running the back roads of Vermont and spending time with his family.  He is currently finishing a dual Master’s degree from Marlboro College Graduate School’s Teaching with Technology Program and MSIT program.  Will is using his education to support, improve and innovate the teaching and learning opportunities in education.
