James Nye’s Resume in .PDF

James NyeJames is a Network Repair Engineer with Sovernet Communications. In this role, James leads a team providing all aspects of business repair, including data connections, phone lines and customer service.

James helps his customers to maintain reliable connections in their communication needs with the digital world. James’s varied background in networking, programming and customer service provided the perfect foundation for his role as Sovernet’s Lead Network Repair Engineer.

Before joining Sovernet in 2005, James worked for 7 years in a diverse range of roles, including a Photolithography Technician at IBM, Backhoe Operator for Paul Hallock Excavating, and a handful of retail jobs.  

James is a qualified Network Systems Analyst and holds both a PC Network Administration degree from CCV and a Managing Information Systems degree from Marlboro College Graduate School.  He also has a CCNA certification from Cisco. He spent a year in Massachusetts working for Cisco, furthering his knowledge of their hardware and IOS builds. He is currently working on a dual masters degree to further his education.
