Letter to stakeholders from Two Tomorrows:

Dear Stakeholders,

Please find attached an assessment of various Water Management Tools for use by Pepsico in their commitment to become more sustainable and better users of water resources.

You will find that for each tool,¬† I have listed a recommendation of usage and in what capacity Pepsico could use each tool. At this time, before our definitions are complete,¬† I do think that in fact, CERES Aqua Gauge is the best tool available for helping Pepsico measure water usage, manage it (create accountability and performance metrics for staff) engage stakeholders and publish their usage post auditing. The Water Footprint Network’s Assessment Manual would be a great preliminary tool for Pepsico in order to explain water management to stakeholders and create more buy in.

in order to take my analysis to the next level and give a final recommendation, I need to understand what our definitions are. I look forward to our finalized, collaborative definitions of positive water balance and sustainability.

All the best,
Julie at Two Tomorrows
